Keep both papers with the house deeds or the boiler’s manual, where the next owner or the next engineer will look for them. A boiler fitted without either is worth asking about.
Before the engineer leaves, spend a few minutes together at the boiler. Ask to see the checklist filled in and signed. Ask how the controls work, which settings were changed for your home, and where the filling loop and the pressure gauge are. Ask where the condensate pipe runs and where it ends.
